Wibsey Park Community Garden

When we moved our offices from Huddersfield to Bradford in 2011 we made it one of our goals to work with more local and ethical companies and organisations. BCEP or Bradford Community Environment Project were the first Charity we connected with. We’ve been working with the team since then on various projects before setting to work on Wibsey Park Community Garden.

Carlton at BCEP was just setting up the garden when he asked us to design a logo identity as well as a versatile ’empty belly’ poster they could fill with their own exciting news and information.

The aims of the garden are:

“to develop a financially and environmentally sustainable project promoting local healthy food production and providing ideas for sustainable living. We will be growing food and veg plants to sell offering training and therapeutic horticulture sessions to groups and individuals on site and to have opportunities for local schools and other community groups to use the site, and show local people how to grow their own food.”

Wibsey Park Community Garden wanted a friendly, fresh and illustrative look to their identity that represented a happy and busy place of work, play, friendship, recuperation and integration.
